Nathan Allen

Nathan is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at St. Francis Xavier University. Prior to moving to STFX, he worked at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada as Program Manager for Surveys and Research Methods. His work examines elections and institutional change, with a focus on South and Southeast Asia. Publications include Electoral Studies, Pacific Affairs, and the Oxford Handbook of Electoral Systems.

 

Elizabeth Iams Wellman

Beth is a political scientist who studies migration policy and electoral politics, focusing on sub-Saharan Africa. Publications include American Political Science Review, African Affairs and the Journal of Elections, Public Opinion, and Parties. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Williams College, and a postdoctoral research fellow at the African Centre for Migration and Society at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Benjamin Nyblade

Ben is Director of UCLA Law’s Empirical Research Group and Co-Director of the UCLA-RAND Center for Law and Public Policy. Prior to joining UCLA Law, he was on faculty in the Department of Political Science at the University of British Columbia. His research cuts across the social sciences, law and public policy, with a focus on comparative democratic institutions and empirical legal studies. His research has been published in journals such as the American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Peace Research, and Journal of Politics.
